The EMG-SA pickup combines the attributes of the early Strat* sound but with an added midrange response and higher output, giving it "bell-like" ringing harmonics and increased sustain. One single Alnico bar magnet delivers classic overdrive with a smooth midrange distortion, while still retaining the familiar high-end of a single-coil pickup. These characteristics provide greater versatility than what is normally found in single-coil pickups. Favorites of Steve Lukather and David Gilmour just to name two, the EMG-SA is our most popular pickup for Stratocaster* type guitars. Package Includes: EMG's exclusive Quik-Connect™ cable, prewired split shaft volume/tone control set, output jack, battery clip set, screws & springs.

The SA rocks !! I just installed an SA along with an 85 at the neck and an 81 in the bridge, on an Ibanez RG370DX and the tone is great. The SA is 1000 times better than the stock pickup I had! It sounds so clean and clear. I am not an accomplished guitarist,I've been learning and playing for just about a year now, and I feel as though the process just got easier with the new pickups. The changes these EMG's have made in my guitar are just amazing, I would recommend EMG's to everyone!
